HOW IT WORKS

1. Subscribe and pay a flat fee of €65 for 12 classes a month regardless of the level

A1 COURSE:
​The Foundation - Basic Survival Skills
Goal: You will be able to understand and use common everyday expressions and basic phrases. You will learn how to introduce yourself and others, as well as ask and answer simple questions about personal details such as where you live, what you do, your family, and your interests. 
The course covers:
  • Speaking: Introduce yourself, ask for and give basic directions, order food/drinks, and express likes/dislikes.
  • Grammar: Simple present tense, Nominative and Accusative cases, basic syntax (word order), separable verbs, numbers, time, and days of the week.
  • Real-World Application: Handling simple interactions in shops, public transport, and making initial contact with new people. By the end, you'll feel confident handling basic, predictable situations.​

A2 COURSE:
​Elementary - Expanding Independence
Goal: Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g., shopping, local geography, employment). Communicate in routine situations which require a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar matters.
The course covers:
  • Speaking: Talk about your past experiences, make appointments, describe your health condition, and discuss your biographical history and job experience.
  • Grammar: Introduction to the Dative case, the past tenses (Perfekt), conjunctions (e.g., weil, dass), and comparative adjectives.
  • Real-World Application: Dealing with basic medical appointments, writing short formal emails, and conducting more detailed transactions in banks or post offices. This level provides the ability to function independently in familiar contexts.

B1: Intermediate - The Confidence Badge
B2: Advance Intermediate - Professional Fluency
Goal: Understand the main points on (less) familiar matters regularly encountered at work, school, all Amts, leisure, and while handling bureaucratic matters. Write a short text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. Handle most situations likely to arise whilst travelling.

The course covers:
  • Speaking: Express personal opinions and elaborate on them, explain rules and procedures (e.g., in a government office), and use polite, formal requests and suggestions (Konjunktiv II).
  • Grammar: Konjunktiv II (for politeness and hypothetical situations), all Relative Clauses, complex conjunctions (obwohl, trotzdem), and reflexive verbs.
  • Real-World Application: This level is crucial for integration. You will learn to navigate bureaucracy, understand rental contracts, participate actively in community discussions, and articulate job motivations. You will move from survival to assertive communication.

Goal: Understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in your field of specialization. Interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain.
The course covers:
  • Speaking: Lead detailed discussions, articulate nuances in arguments, express certainty or doubt, negotiate terms, and give structured presentations.
  • Grammar: Passive Voice (all tenses), Noun-Verb-Connections (Nomen-Verb-Verbindungen), advanced use of Modal Particles, Genitive case, and complex text cohesion tools.
  • Real-World Application: Reading and summarizing specialized professional articles, successfully navigating job interviews, and engaging in sophisticated, nuanced debate on political or cultural topics. This level prepares you for professional and academic success.

Please note that all subscription payments are non-refundable during the first month of enrollment.
To cancel your subscription, requests must be submitted via email at least two weeks prior to the renewal date.
